How It All Started

The idea of Quanto Retail ERP took root in 2017, when the retail industry was rapidly modernizing but lacked a dedicated ERP solution tailored for the textile and fashion sector. Generic ERPs and POS systems existed, but they were unable to address the unique complexities of textile businesses such as roll-based stock, multi-size inventory, GRNs, warehouse transfers, and customer loyalty integrations.

This gap was identified by Elayaraja Sambasivam and Deenadayalan Jayachandran, two seasoned technology professionals with a shared passion for building business-driven software.

Elayaraja Sambasivam – Director & Co-Founder

With 15+ years of IT expertise, Elayaraja has worked with iSoft, CSC, and Citi Bank. At Citi, he played a pivotal role in architecting and designing a Real-Time Risk Platform with grid computing, built fully on .NET. His strength lies in designing scalable enterprise solutions that solve real-world business problems.

Deenadayalan Jayachandran – Director & Co-Founder

Deenadayalan also brings over 15 years of experience, with a strong background in product architecture and performance engineering. As a core member of the Lorenzo Product Development team (for the UK’s NHS IT Program NPFiT), he ensured the platform could handle 440,000+ concurrent users. His expertise in scalability and performance became the backbone of Quanto ERP.

Together, they combined technical excellence with retail insights to create a solution “built by passion, driven by process.”

From Vision to Reality

2018 – The first version of Quanto ERP was launched, serving family-run textile shops.
2019 – Expanded to chain store management, enabling multi-branch control.
2020 – Catered to large family stores with revenues above ₹100 Cr.
2021 – Introduced manufacturing ERP to support textile production units.
2022 – Expanded into collection management & distribution ERP.
2023 – Launched Quantofyy and specialized ERP for hypermarkets (>₹500 Cr).
2024 – Marked its global presence.
2025 – Building the Quanto Ecosystem, an all-in-one digital platform for retailers.
